There is going to be a fundraising comp in aid of Yorkhill hospital & Ronald McDonald house in Glasgow, set for April 11th next season!.. Local angler Tam McGregor & his family decided the best way they can give a big thankyou for all their care & support towards their family & granddaughter, is to have a fishy fundraiser!.. They want to help ensure that these fantastic places will continue to be there for other families who need their support & care. This is of course a sponsored event with the aim to raise as much money possible the best way we know how, which is fishing! Info packs & sponsor forms will be available soon from the fishery office & further info such as details of the individuals & companies who have graciously donated all the fantastic prizes for this event will be posted soon!.. So far Tam has organised prizes for 1st,2nd,3rd,heaviest fish and most monies raised by an individual. There will also be a raffle and of course we will feed you on the day also! Please remember that you don't have to be an angler already to join in the fun, Tam has several folk sighned up who haven't even wet a line yet!.. If you are looking for a little inspiration, Tam suggested you have a look at http://cerysdawne-connor.gonetoosoon.org/memorial or www.ronaldmcdonaldhouse.net Thanks for reading this & look forward to hearing from you all soon!.. *Iona @ The Tarn* The annual charity sheild was donated by A1 Trophies of Hertfordshire. www.a1trophies.com |
