Best bait and tactics of late!

Standard float fishing and ledgering techniques work well on the Iona Bait Pool all year round. Worm, maggot and sweetcorn or Power Bait can all be used to terrific effect.
Tactics lately have varied depending on the conditions on the day.
The water is still fishing really well with some very nice healthy specimens getting caught & lost & the water itself is very clear at the moment!
Fish are occasionally taking straight off the bottom, but generally they are taking in the top 2 feet off the float.
Favourite Baits have been worms or various coloured Power Baits, depending on the weather conditions.
